The Team

Women's Ministries

1 Vision
  • Training our women to saturate every aspect of our lives in prayer.
  • To equip our women with training so they will be actively involved in evangelism and outreach ministries with the goal of becoming "Disciples Making Disciples".
  • To foster a culture of unity and total involvement as we work for the Master.
  • Christ-Centered Focus: spiritual encouragement, growth and daily bible study.
  • Wide-spread Mission: meeting the needs of each other in all seasons of our lives, and of those in our community.
  • Health: incorporate the Health Message in all we do.
2 Goals
  • Help women grow in their relationship with Jesus Christ.
  • Help women get established in the Word.
  • Help women learn to serve in love.
  • Help women understand how to live out the gospel.
  • Help women to develop and become mentors for the youth and young adults.
3 Upward in Christ
  • Prayer line and quarterly women's prayer sessions — recognizing that our efforts are futile without Christ at the center.
  • Bible studies — through the study of God's Word, we equip others with knowledge and strengthen our own faith.
  • Women's Ministries strives to facilitate transformative relationships with Jesus for every woman within the church community.
4 Inward in Connection
  • Training: equipping and empowering the women and young ladies of the Greater New York Conference.
  • Evangelism: soul-winning through evangelistic series, sidewalk evangelism, online evangelism, mission trips, and health message evangelism.
  • Outreach: sharing the gospel, providing food to the hungry, distributing clothing, and partnering with shelters and organizations aiding immigrants.
  • Young Adult Forum: creating a safe environment that fosters self-expression, nurtures personal growth, and builds confidence.
  • Enditnow: global initiative advocating for the end of violence against men, women, and children worldwide.
5 Forward in Completion
  • Disabilities Ministries: providing assistance and connecting individuals with professionals, including addressing the needs of the deaf community.
  • Women Helping Women Network: a database bringing together women from various professions to share skills, talents, and professional expertise.
  • Safe Haven: a place of refuge for women fleeing domestic violence — providing physical safety, emotional support, empowerment, healing and recovery, and community solidarity.
